Pedder 'Homebake' 2014

Due to some terrible weather conditions at Lake Pedder this year the competition had to move location to seek cover from high winds. Initially the decision was made to fish Lake Catagunyah so the convoy of boats headed away from Mount Field past Meadowbank Lake and towards the 'Gunyah'. Yet another obstacle was put in our path as a large tree that had come down in the storm the previous day and was blocking the road to Lake Catgunyah!! The only option left was to fish Lake Wayatinah as we backed the convoy up the road to the turn off. It was here the competition commenced.

The prize pack for Biggest Fish is shown right and included two Trout Attack lures and the 'lure that shall not be mentioned'.

The two winners of Pedder Homebake 2014 were Mat Dayton (Biggest Fish) and Gary Loh for most fish caught which was 5 fish. The winning fish was taken on a Powell lure that Mat won in the second Pedder Homebake in 2012.
